Bertram L. Lutton, 79, of Bethlehem died Monday, January 30, 2017 at St. Lukes Hospice House in Bethlehem. Born April 27, 1937, he was the son of the late John L. and Charlotte (Balliett) R. Lutton.
Bertram was a 50 year member of the International Union of Operation Engineers. He contributed substantially in that capacity to the infrastructure development of the Lehigh Valley.
Bertram is fondly remembered by family and friends as a generous person who enjoyed sharing his summer home and boat at Lake Wallenpaupack with so many.
He is survived by his brothers, John “Jack” Lutton and Robert “Bob” Lutton and wife Mary Jane all of Bethlehem, two sons, Mark J. Lutton of Niceville, FL and Brian R. Lutton and his wife of Laura of Harpers Ferry, WV, seven grandchildren and two great grandchildren. He was predeceased by a sister, Christianna L. Anderson of New Hope, PA and a son, Scott W. Lutton of Palmerton, PA.
Services will be private and at the convenience of the family.
