Betty Reczek

Betty J. Reczek, 88, of Bethlehem, PA, died on February 12, 2025. Born in Bethlehem, she was the daughter of the late Fred and Theresa (Tibola) Reczek.

A graduate of Bethlehem Catholic High School (Class of 1954) and St. Luke's School of Nursing (Class of 1957), Betty enjoyed a long career dedicated to nursing, where she made hundreds of friends, in addition to her lifelong school mate friends. After retirement, Betty enjoyed many happy years and new friends at Moravian Village.

Predeceased by her parents and her sister, Margaret T. Reczek, Betty will be remembered lovingly by her dearest friend, Helen Fabian, friends, Eleanor (Fenol) Strack and Margaret (Sopko) Coyle, along with the wonderful, caring staff and community at Moravian Village.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, February 20, 2025, at St. Anne's Catholic Church, 450 E. Washington Ave. Bethlehem, PA 18017, where Betty was a member for many years. Burial will follow at Holy Saviour Cemetery.

Arrangements are under the care of Connell Funeral Home.
