Betty Riestra

Elida Betty Riestra, 90, of Bethlehem, died Thursday, January 31, 2008 at Manor Care Health Services in Bethlehem. She was born April 4, 1917 in Tremana, Spain, the daughter of the late Francisco and Olvideo Moran Guerra. She was the wife of the late Ramon Riestra who died in 1973.

Betty worked as a waitress at Anna Maria Restaurant on Union Blvd. in Bethlehem for 34 years before retiring in 1985. She was a member of Holy Infancy Catholic Church of Bethlehem.

Betty will be lovingly remembered by her son, Vincent R. Riestra & his wife Dolores of Bethlehem; a brother, Louis Guerra of Allentown; and a sister, Consuelo Connie Strohl and her husband Edwin of Hellertown. She was preceded in death by three brothers, Adolph, Bernard and Joseph; and a sister, Mary.
