Betty-Lou Takacs

Betty-Lou Takacs, 86, of Bethlehem, passed away on Monday, January 28, 2019. Born in Allentown, she was the daughter of the late George and Emma (Greenawalt) Roth. She was the wife of the late Joseph Takacs. Betty-Lou was employed by the former AT&T for many years and retired as an Inspector. She was also a member of Ss. Simon & Jude Catholic Church, Bethlehem.

She was predeceased by her sisters, Mildred Buich, Virginia Hodge and Helen Leibenguth. She will be lovingly remembered by 3 generations of nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Friday, Feb. 1, from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. at Ss. Simon & Jude Catholic Church, 730 W. Broad St. Bethlehem. A 1:30 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will follow. Burial will be at Holy Saviour Cemetery, Bethlehem.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Lehigh County Humane Society, 640 Dixon St. Allentown, PA 18103.
