Bohdanna H. Mychajliw

Bohdanna Halyna Mychajliw, 83, of Bethlehem, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, March 19, 2015. She was born on September 23, 1931 in Turka, Ukraine; daughter of the late Ivan and Olha Tarnawsky. She was the loving wife of Eugene J. Mychajliw for 60 years. She dedicated her life to her family and her faith. She was an active member of St. Josaphat Ukrainian Catholic Church and a current member and past officer of Branch 91 of the Ukrainian National Womens League of America (UNWLA). She was also a Medical Laboratory Technician employed by Hematology Oncology Associates of Allentown for 30 years.

Bohdanna will be lovingly remembered by her husband, Eugene; son, Borys Mychajliw and wife Larissa of Wrightstown, PA; daughter, Olha Nowakiwsky and husband Roman of Breckenridge, CO; brothers, Yuriy Tarnawsky and wife Karina, and Roman Tarnawsky and companion Linda Rost; grandchildren, Ariana Mychajliw, Tamara Thomson and husband Sean, Christopher Nowakiwsky , and Mark Nowakiwsky. She is also survived by her sister-in-law Maria Antoniw, numerous nieces and nephews, and family in Ukraine.

Viewing hours will be held at Connell Funeral Home, 245 E. Broad St., Bethlehem, on Tuesday, March 24, from 6 to 9 p.m., with Parastas at 8 p.m. A 10 a.m. Office of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday at St. Josaphat Ukrainian Catholic Church, 1826 Kenmore Ave., Bethlehem, PA 18018. Burial will follow in the St. Josaphat Cemetery in Hellertown.
