Brett Andrew Adair

December 16, 1968 — October 1, 2021

Brett Andrew Adair, 52, of Northampton, died at home on October 1, 2021, with his family by his side. With a deep love for his family and a tremendous will to live, Brett battled a very aggressive type of cancer labelled as Poorly Differentiated Hepatocellular Carcinoma for the last 9 months. He was born December 16, 1968, in Cleveland, Ohio; son of Roberta Anna Florey and the late Donald Leonard Adair.

Brett will be affectionately remembered as an honest, selfless, and hardworking man who enjoyed all life had to offer- always putting the needs of his family first. He was a faithful friend to all who knew him, famous for his bonfires and interest in the outdoors. Brett loved his family unconditionally. He was unassuming and fairly private, however he opened up to those he felt close to and was well known for his dry and witty sense of humor. He was a jack of all trades- able to use the skills that he acquired over the years to fix most problems he encountered. Music played a large part in Bretts life. He appreciated many genres, but particularly loved Dave Matthews Band, Led Zeppelin, and Rush. Brett enjoyed going to concerts, creating countless memories while at shows over the years.

Brett was a graduate of Delaware Valley University where he studied Ornamental Horticulture. These skills were extremely useful as Brett spent nearly 25 years cultivating the Willow Brook Golf Course with love and care. During his tenure as Superintendent, he and his team took WBGC from a 9-hole course to an 18-hole, then years later reverted it back to 9 holes. He was extremely dedicated to performing and achieving the best 9/18/9-hole course in the area and was a member of the GCSAA. Often people would comment on how beautiful, well kept, and groomed the course was. Brett was never one to boast about himself or his accomplishments, but he was very proud of what the course had become and of others love for the course.

In life, love, and career Bretts impact was felt by all who came in contact with him. He will be dearly missed by his wife, Kimberly Joy Adair; children Kelsey Rianne Adair and Bryce Andrew Adair. Brett is also survived by his mother, Roberta Florey; brother, Jeffrey Adair; and his extended family and friends.
