Bruce M. Becker

Bruce Michael Becker, 69, of Center Valley, PA, passed away on Monday March 8, 2021, at Heather Glen Senior Living in Allentown, PA. Bruce was born in Baltimore, MD, the son of Melvin and Cecile (Bertschy) Becker. He was the husband of Nancy (Inman) Becker, with whom he celebrated 46 years of marriage in August. Bruce graduated from Babson College with a BS

in Economics and went on to earn his MBA from the University of Virginia. Bruce worked in chemical sales and management throughout his career, for Air Products, DuPont, Celanese, and Perry Chemicals. He was a member of the Unitarian Universalist Church of the Lehigh Valley.

Throughout his active and gregarious life, Bruce was an avid golfer and squash player and a zealous fan of the Philadelphia Flyers, Baltimore Orioles, and Indianapolis Colts. He traveled to many parts of the world and had a particular fondness for the Caribbean, where he and Nancy traveled frequently, and where Bruce was sure to be found snorkeling and socializing. Bruce was a kind, caring man, as reliable with a joke as he was with his fierce advocacy for what he thought was right and good. He is survived and will be lovingly remembered by his wife Nancy, daughter Gretchen (Becker) Kline, son Brian Becker, brother Mark Becker, sister Karen (Becker) Richardson, son-in-law Michael Kline, brothers-in-law Thomas Richardson and Doug Ryan, and five nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, April 10, at Nisky Hill Cemetery in Bethlehem at 1:30pm. Masks will be required for those in attendance. Zoom links will be provided for those who wish to attend virtually. For those who wish commemorate Bruce with a gift, please
