Bruce W. Host

Bruce W. Host, Jr., 58, of Sarasota, FL and Bethlehem, PA, passed away on Monday, March 7, 2022, at his home in Florida.

Born October 4, 1963, he was a son of Bruce and Mary Ann (Horvath) Host, Sr.

A graduate of Liberty High School, Bruce went on to receive a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from Lehigh University in 1987, followed by a Master of Science in Water Resources and Environmental Engineering from Villanova University in 1998.

Bruce enjoyed a 35-year career as a member of the chemical insurance community. For the past 20 years, he was an integral part of the ChemPlan team, in Florida, as Vice President of Loss Control.

Outside of work, he was an avid fisherman and also served on the board of the F-3 Fishing Club.

In addition to his parents, he will be lovingly remembered by two sisters: Laurie Host (Henry Abate) and Susan Hauck (Chris); and two nieces: Bethany Hauck and Morgan Abate.

Services will be private.

Donations may be made, in Bruces memory, to Monacacy Creek Watershed Association, 100 Illicks Mill Road, Bethlehem, PA 18017.
