Buenaventura B. Bermudez

Buenaventura Bermudez, 70, of Manila, Philippines, died on Monday, September 29, 2008 at Walter Reed Hospital in Washington, DC.

He was born in Baguio City, Philippines; the son of the late Casimiro and Visitasion Bangloy Bermudez.

Buenaventura is survived by his wife, Yolanda Z. Bermudez of Bethlehem.

He was a graduate of Far Eastern University with a degree in Civil Engineering.

Buenaventura retired in 1998 as a manager of the Greenfield Development Corp. in the Philippines.

He will be lovingly remembered by his family, wife, Yolanda; sons, Leo and his wife Linda; John; Noel Angelo and his wife Maricel; Enrico and his wife Laura and Abraham as well as his daughters Griselle; Maria wife of Ben Foell; Remedios and Elizabeth. He is also survived by nine grandchildren, five brothers, two sisters and several nieces and nephews in the Philippines.

Services

A visitation will be held on Friday, October 3, 2008 at Connell Funeral Home, Inc. 245 E. Broad St. Bethlehem from 6-8 PM.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, October 4, 2008 at 2:30 PM in Ss. Simon and Jude Catholic Church 730 W. Broad St. Bethlehem.
