C. Chester Pullen

August 7, 1919 — March 31, 2010

Charles Chester Pullen, 90, of Bethlehem, died Wednesday March 31, 2010 at Sacred Heart Hospital, Allentown. Born in Hightstown, N.J. on August 7, 1919, he was the son of the late Chester and Elizabeth Ward Pullen. He is survived by his wife of 67 years, Virginia O'Donnell Pullen.

Chester was a 1941 graduate of Villanova College where he earned a degree in Electrical Engineering. He was employed by the Bethlehem Steel Corporate Engineering Department from 1941 to 1983. He was a member of St. Anne's Catholic Church, Bethlehem, and the Holy Name Society.

He will be lovingly remembered by his wife, Virginia, of Bethlehem; sons, Richard husband of Phillipia of Prince Frederick, MD and Robert husband of Sheri of Leesburg, VA; daughters, Joan wife of Edward Manson of Weston, VT, and Mary Ann wife of Terry Novatnack of Bethlehem; 9 grandchildren; and 4 great grandchild. He was preceded in death by his sisters, Vivian Hopkins and Marie Baird

Arrangements are being handled by Connell Funeral Home, Bethlehem. An 11 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday April 7th at St. Anne's Catholic Church, 450 Washington Ave. Bethlehem, PA 18017. Visitation will be held in the church one hour prior to Mass. Interment will be in Holy Saviour Cemetery, Bethelehem.

Memorial contributions may be made to the church or Meals on Wheels 4240 Fritch Dr. Bethlehem, PA 18020.
