C. Marguerite Armitage

Catherine Marguerite Armitage, 90, of Bethlehem, gently passed away on Tuesday, December 8th at Gracedale Nursing Home following a long illness.

Born in Jackson, MI; she was the daughter of the late John C. and Katherine Louise Hahn Harrington. Marge was predeceased by her beloved sister, Mary Ann Harrington. She was married to Kendall Armitage in 1946 until his passing in 1995. Together they had three children, Gary and his wife, Stephanie, who reside in Durham, NH; Louise and her husband, Gerald Sarajian, of Bethlehem; and Craig of Bethlehem. Marge is also survived by six grandchildren who are the light of her life and two great-grandchildren.

Marge is a graduate of St. Mary's High School and St. Mary's Junior College in Jackson.

Marguerite remained active in her Catholic Church work throughout her life. She was a charter member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church where she served as a Eucharistic Minister and many other organizations. Marguerite attended daily Mass and Communion with the Rosary Group. She was also a member of the Blue Army of Our Lady of Fatima.
