Carl G. Konolige

Carl G. Konolige, 91, of Allentown, Pa., died on Saturday July 2, 2011. Born in Bethlehem on December 10, 1919, he was the son of the late George and Mary Konolige. Carl was a graduate of Liberty High School and of Lehigh University. He worked as an accountant in New York City for many years. He was a veteran of the United States Army, having served in World War II.

He is survived by his wife, Catherine Speigel of Allentown; sons, Kit Konolige of Greenwich, CT, Kurt Konolige of Menlo Park, CA, and Peter Konolige of Devon, PA; and grandchildren Christopher, Rebecca, Tristan, Jessica, and Samuel. He was predeceased by his first wife, Ann Soltis Konolige, and siblings George Konolige and Helen Konolige Broyles.

A 3 p.m. graveside service will be held on Tuesday July 5th at Holy Saviour Cemetery, 2575 Linden St., Bethlehem, Pa.
