Carl J. Mari

Carl J. Mari, 85, of Bethlehem, passed away on Friday, August 19, 2022, at Holy Family Manor.

Born on February 26, 1937, in Freemansburg, he was a son of the late Jose and Anna (Phadenhauer) Mari.

A graduate of Liberty High School, Carl went on to serve in the United States Army. Following his honorable discharge, he returned home to work for Bethlehem Steel for twenty-eight years, until they closed.

Outside of work, he was an avid fisherman.

In addition to his parents, Carl is preceded in death by one sister: Anna Martin; one brother: John Mari; and two nieces: Andrea and Sandra Winepearl.

Carl will be lovingly remembered by his wife of fifty-six years, Rosemarie (Palos) Mari; three sons: Michael (Cathy), Christopher, and Scott Mari; two grandchildren: Melissa and Brammel Mari; one brother: Joseph Mari; one sister: Marrion Winepearl; three nephews: Russel, Joseph, and Thomas Mari; and one niece: Dorris Mari.

Services will be held at the Connell Funeral Home, Inc., 245 East Broad Street, Bethlehem, on Tuesday, August 23, 2022, at 10:00am.

Interment will be in Holy Saviour Cemetery, Linden Street, Bethlehem.
