Carl W. Cool

Carl “Bud” W. Cool, 92, of Bethlehem passed away on Monday December 22, 2014 at Lehigh Valley Hospice 17th and Chew St. in Allentown. He was born on August 28, 1922 in Bethlehem, son of the late Charles and Buehla (Fink) Cool. He was the loving husband of the late Pauline (Riola) Cool who died on March 27, 2014. Carl was a bricklayer for Union Local #5. He was a member of the Trinity UCC in Bethlehem. Carl served his country in the US Army during WWII. He also volunteered for Musikfest for thirty years. In addition, Carl was a member of the Bethlehem Mora Club, Celtic Fest, Spirit of Bethlehem, and the American Cancer Society.

He will be lovingly remembered by his son, Carl M. Cool of Bedminster, Pa., daughter, Mary Jane Heil of Newtown, Pa., sisters, Luella Stametz, and Geraldine Williams both of Bethlehem, Pa., granddaughters, Katie Cool Winn, Lauren Wintemberg, and Kristen Wintemberg, and great grand-son Kaydin Winn.

Calling hours will be held from 9:30a.m. to 10:30a.m. Saturday December 27, 2014 at the Connell Funeral Home 245 E. Broad St. Bethlehem, Pa. 18018 followed by a Funeral Service at 11a.m. at Trinity UCC 81 E. North St. Bethlehem, Pa. 18018. Entombment will be held at Holy Saviour Mausoleum.
