Carl W. Judd

Carl W. Judd, 61, of Bethlehem, died on Thursday, February 10, 2011 at Hospice House of St. Luke's in Lower Saucon Twp. Born in Bethlehem, raised in Hellertown, he was the son of the late Edward and Eleanor Moser Judd. He was the loving husband of Barbara Oberman Judd. They celebrated their 24th wedding anniversary this past June 3rd.

Carl worked for the City of Bethlehem for both the Street and Water Departments.

He served his country in the US Navy during the Vietnam War and was a Lieutenant in the US Navy Sea Cadets. He also served in the US Air Force Reserves. He was a member of the American Legion. Carl was the vice president of PFIW and also a Pennsylvania State Constable.

Carl loved his children and grandchildren. He was often called the "Mayor of Goepp St."

He will be lovingly remembered by his wife, Barbara Judd, daughter, Shelly Horvath, sons, Thomas Soldridge and wife Erika, Adam Soldridge and wife Allysa, Eric Judd and David Judd and wife Melissa, sister, Barbara wife of Carl Schroy and a brother, Robert Judd and wife Joanne. He will also be missed by his eight grandchildren.

Services: A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Wednesday, February 16, 2011 at Crossroads Baptist Church 1860 E. Emmaus Ave., Allentown, PA 18103 at 10 AM. A calling period will be held in the church from 9-10 AM. Burial will be at Arlington Memorial Park, in Whitehall, PA.
