Carmela "Connie" Washko

Carmela “Connie” Washko, 92, of Bethlehem, passed away on Friday, February 02, 2018. She was the daughter of the late Congetta (Petrecelli) and Rocko DeLaurentis. She was the loving wife of the late Charles Washko.

Connie was a member of St. Annes Church. She worked for many years with her husband at the Hecktown Dairy Farm. She was an avid reader and later in life enjoyed listening to books on tape. Connie enjoyed traveling, especially her trips to Florida and Mexico.

She will be lovingly remembered by her son, Samuel Westwood of Bethlehem; sisters, Eva DeLaurtentis of Bethlehem and Elizabeth DeLaurentis Fischer of Pittsburgh and many nieces and nephews. Connie was preceded in death by her sister, Angelina DeLaurentis Iglesias and brother, Carmen DeLaurentis.

A visitation will be held on Monday, February 5, 2018 from 10:30 a.m.-11 a.m. at St. Annes Church, 450 Washington Ave. Bethlehem, PA 18017. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11 a.m. Burial will be held at Holy Saviour Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Childrens Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Pl. Memphis, TN 38105.
