Carmella M. Shotton

Carmella M. Crisante Shotton, 88, of Bethlehem, died Monday, August 20, 2007 at Hospice of the VNA of St. Luke's in Bethlehem.

Born January 15, 1919 in Bethlehem, she was the daughter of the late Andrea and Serfina Plevanu Crisante. She was married to the late Michael Shotton.

Carmella was a member of Ss. Peter and Paul Byzantine Catholic Church in Bethlehem, where she was also a member of the Rosary Society. She worked as a seamstress for 20 years at the former Lehigh Dress Company.

She will be lovingly remembered by her daughters; Cynthia wife of Stephen Vajda of Bethlehem Township and Barbara wife of Robert Humphreys of San Diego, CA, sisters Jenny Cassano of Bethlehem, grandchildren; Robert, Kristin, Stephen, and Jason. She is also survived by two great-grandchildren Olivia and Jackson.

She was preceded in death by her brother Albert Crisante and a sister Lena Diablo.

SERVICES

Visitation will be Wednesday August 22, 2007 from 6-8 p.m. at Connell Funeral Home, Inc. 245 E. Broad St. Bethlehem.

An Office of Christian Burial will be held Thursday August 23, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. at Ss. Peter and Paul Byzantine Catholic Church 1140 Johnston Dr. Bethlehem. Burial will be at Holy Saviour Cemetery, Bethlehem.
