Carmine Litz, Jr., 85, of Coopersburg passed away on Friday, June 7, 2024 at St. Luke's Hospice House. Born on April 13, 1939, he was the son of the late Philomena (DeNofa) and Carmine Litz. He was the loving husband of Mary K. (Lynch) Litz.
After graduating high school, Carmine joined the United States Air Force. After being honorably discharged, he joined the United States Air Force Reserves, retiring in 1999. Carmine worked at the Bethlehem Steel. A Jack of All Trades, Carmine was always willing to help anyone in need. He enjoyed gardening, collecting, listening to Willie Nelson and Steven Tyler and doing anything outdoors. He loved making others smile, always joking and pulling pranks. He was a member of the South Bethlehem Volunteer Firemen’s Relief Association. Above all, Carmine loved and adored his grandchildren.
He will be lovingly remembered by his wife, Mary K. Litz; sons, Tim Litz (Renay), Christopher Litz (Dennyel) and Carmine Thomas Litz (Janean); daughter, Lori Pritchet; 1 sister, 10 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. Carmine was preceded in death by his son, Michael T. Litz and brother, Joseph Litz.
Services will be held privately at the convenience of the family.
