Carol Bullock, 71, of Bethlehem died September 16, 2006 in the Hospice of the VNA of St. Luke?s. She was born on December 23, 1934 in Allentown, she was the daughter of the late Lester N. and Helen Zakutny Richards. She was the loving wife of James E. Bullock. They celebrated their 45th wedding anniversary on September 9th.

Carol was a 1953 graduate of Liberty High School. From 1953 to 1956, she served her country in the WAC Medical Corps, spending much of that period assigned to Mercy Hospital in Okinawa. Following graduation from Bethlehem Business School she orked as a secretary for Western Electric. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She loved gardening, her dogs, including her beloved Airedale terriers Katie and Abby, and shopping for her grandchildren.

She will be lovingly remembered by her husband; son, James E. Bullock of Bethlehem; daughters, Susan A. Eglauf of Bethlehem and Jennifer Bullock of Matawan, NJ; and three grandchildren, Chelsea and Anthony Eglauf and James Kehs.

She was preceded in death by her son, David Patrick Bullock.

Service:

A mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 AM Thursday September 21, 2006 at Ss. Simon and Jude Catholic Church 730 W. Broad St. Bethlehem, PA 18018.

An evening viewing will be held from 7-9 PM in the funeral home Wednesday September 20, 2006. Burial will be at Holy Saviour Cemetery, Bethlehem.
