Carol J. Kopenhaver

Carol J. Kopenhaver, 68, formerly of Stroudsburg, passed away on December 2, 2021, at St Luke's Hospice in Bethlehem.

Born in Sellersville, she was a daughter of the late William C. and V. Joy (Roeder) Kopenhaver.

Carol graduated from Moravian College in 1975 where she received her bachelors of arts degree in English. Upon graduation, Carol worked in a variety of Sales and Advertising positions. She ended her impressive career as the Senior Vice President & General Operations Manager at PRO Direct in 2002 before relocating to Stroudsburg to take ownership of her childhood home. Once settled, Carol had a 12 year career as the Front Desk Manager for the Stroudsmoor Country Inn before retiring.

Carol enjoyed gardening, tending to her indoor plants, and most importantly, caring for her adopted cats, Jade and Noel, who she loved dearly. She cared deeply about her family and will be greatly missed.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Cathie Kopenhaver. Surviving are her sister, Carey J. Ackerman and her husband, Bernard, C. Ackerman, their children, Jared, Colin and Elizabeth, and her great nieces and nephews.

Services will be private.
