Carola R. Sauers

Carola R. Sauers, 69, of Hazleton, died on Monday, May 12, 2014. She was born in Biebelnheim, Germany, daughter of Hanna (Konig) Kubecka of Bendorf, Germany and the late Alois Kubecka. She was the loving wife of Michael A. Sauers.

Carola was a licensed Physical Therapy Assistant who graduated from The Pennsylvania State University. She was a caring wife, mother and grandmother who was a lover of nature and animals, devoting numerous years of her life to the preservation of both.

One of Carolas wishes was that the human community would extend the hand of kindness, understanding and compassion to all living creatures.

She will be lovingly remembered by her husband, Michael of Hazleton; daughter, Natascha wife of Michael Gross of Leesport; and her grandson, Kristopher Gross.

All services will be held privately and at the convenience of the family.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Carolas name to Hillside SPCA, Pottsville, PA, a no kill shelter for animals or Carbon County Environmental Education Center, Summit Hill, PA.
