Carole L. Dane

Carole L. Dane, 79, of Hancock, Maine, formerly of Coopersburg, Pa. passed away at her home on Thursday March 23, 2017. She was born in Emmaus, Pa., daughter of the late Leo and Elizabeth Dorothy (Silnik) Nelson. She was the wife of the late James B. Dane.

Carole was a research librarian for Lehigh Valley Hospital, Moravian College and Bell Labs. She was a former member of Assumption BVM in Colesville, Pa. and very active in school and church activities. She enjoyed reading, painting, bird watching, nature, and spending time with her family and friends.

She will be lovingly remembered by her daughters, Cynthia “Cindy” Dane of Sullivan, Maine, Elizabeth “Beth” Dane of Collegeville, Pa., and Theresa “Teri” Dane of Hancock, Maine. She was predeceased by sisters, Cynthia Nelson and Constance M. Nelson.

A viewing will be held from 9-11am Wednesday March 29, 2017 at the Connell Funeral Home 245 E. Broad St. Bethlehem, Pa. 18018 followed by a service at 11am. Burial will be held at Holy Saviour Cemetery.
