Caroline M. Schleicher

Caroline M. Schleicher, 68, of East Stroudsburg, died Wednesday, July 30, 2008 at Lehigh Valley Hospital-Muhlenberg in Bethlehem. Born in Bethlehem, she was the daughter of the late Charles, Sr. and Alice Lee Schleicher. Caroline worked as a press operator for Newway Laundry, Electric Laundry and retired from MacIntosh Laundry. She was a member of St. Stephen's Evangelical Lutheran Church of Bethlehem, St. Stephen's Sociables and their Social Ministry Committee.

She will be lovingly remembered by her brothers, Donald Schleicher & his wife Gertrude "Trudy" of Bethlehem; Charles H. Schleicher, Jr. of Pottstown; two nieces, Jessie Schleicher-Cooney whom she lived with, Alice Ann Schleicher and one nephew,

Galen H. Schleicher. She was preceded in death by her nephew-in-law-Patrick R. Cooney.

Services: A Funeral Service will be held, Saturday, August 2, 2008 at 9:30 a.m. at Connell Funeral Home, Inc. 245 East Broad St. Bethlehem. Visitation will be from 8:30 - 9:30 a.m. in the funeral home. Burial will follow at Bethlehem Memorial Park, Bethlehem.
