Catherine Cassano

Catherine (Marcincin) Cassano, 83, of Bethlehem, PA passed away Sunday, April 15, 2012 at Country Meadows in Bethlehem. Born March 27, 1929 in Bethlehem she was the daughter of the late Margaret (Petrovsky) and Joseph Marcincin. She was married to the late Joseph R. Cassano.

Catherine was the owner and operator of Kate's Beauty Shop in Bethlehem. She was a member of Incarnation of Our Lord's Parish, the former Ss Cyril and Methodious Catholic Church in Bethlehem, where she was very active.

Catherine is survived by her sister, Margaret M. Korpics of Bethlehem and several nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her brothers, John and Joseph Marcincin and a sister, Mary Ahern.

SERVICES

A viewing will be held on Wednesday, April 18, 2012 at Connell Funeral Home 245 E. Broad St., Bethlehem, PA 18018 from 11 AM to 12:30 PM followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at Incarnation of Our Lord's Parish 617 Pierce St., Bethlehem, PA 18015 at 1:00 PM. Burial will be at Holy Saviour in Bethlehem.

Memorial contributions may be made in Catherine's name to the church.
