Catherine D. Kuplen

Catherine “Katie” Kuplen, 90, of Bethlehem, died peacefully on Thursday, March 17, 2016 at Holy Family Manor, Bethlehem. Born in Freemansburg, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Rose (Erceg) Yurich. She was the loving wife of William C. Kuplen; they were married 66 years. Katie dedicated her life to her family and was a member of St. Anne Catholic Church, Bethlehem.

She will be lovingly remembered by her husband, William; sons, William F. & wife Pamela and Frank & wife Carol; grandchildren, Rachael Medero, Rebecca Minford, Tyler Kuplen, Emily Klados and Elizabeth Borino; and great grandchildren, Alexia, Anthony, Gabriella, Kaitlyn, Yanna, Drake and Kallista. She was predeceased by her sisters, Sweta Fritchman, Anna Drusba, Eva Danyi and twin sister, Helen Bakos; and brother, Anthony Yurich.

Visitation will be held from 12 to 1 p.m. on Tuesday, March 22, at the Holy Family Manor St. Ann Chapel, 1200 Spring St., Bethlehem, 18018. A 1 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will follow in the Chapel. Burial will be at Holy Saviour Cemetery, Bethlehem.
