Catherine M. Bartek

Catherine M. Bartek, 87, of Bath, died on Sunday, August 19, 2007 at Muhlenberg Hospital.

She was born in Bethlehem, the daughter of the late Andrew C. and Johanna M. Lawrence Bartek

Catherine retired in 1981 after working for 26 years at the former Western Electric and AT&T as a Layout Operator.

She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Bath, where she was a member of the sodality.

Catherine is survived by her brothers Joseph Bartek of Bethlehem Twp. And George Bartek of Kunkletown, PA as well as her sisters-in-law Dolores Bartek of Bethlehem and Jackie Bartek of Bethlehem Twp., as well as her nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her brothers Bernard and Charles Bartek and sisters Marie Oehler and Bernadine Blum.

Catherine volunteered at Holy Family Manor for many years and was an avid Philadelphia sports fan.

Services under the guidance of Connell Funeral Home, Inc. Bethlehem

A visitation will be held on Friday August 24, 2007 at Holy Family Manor Chapel 1200 Spring St. Bethlehem PA 18018 from 11-12 noon with a Mass of Christian Burial immediately following in the Chapel.
