Catherine M. Mcgovern

Catherine M. Donchez McGovern, 68, of Bethlehem died Saturday October 6, 2007 at the VNA Hospice of St. Lukes. She was born on December 25, 1938 in Bethlehem daughter of the late Julius F. and Angeline A. Belletti Donchez.

Catherine was a life long resident of Bethlehem and a kindergarten teacher in the Bethlehem Area School District for over 25 years befor retiring. She was a member of St. Anne?s Catholic Church and the Bethlehem Club. Catherine was a graduate of Liberty High School and received a dual degree from Moravian College and also pursued graduate studies at Lehigh University.

She will be lovingly remembered by sons, Robert M. McGovern III and wife Margaret E. of Bethlehem, and Ross M. McGovern and wife Wendy C. of Alburtis, sisters, Angeline Quinn, and Maria Ramberger , and 6 grandchildren, Maegan, Eamon, Jessica, Conlan, Tyler and Justin.

The Family will receive friends on Tuesday October 9, 2007 from 6-9PM at the Connell Funeral Home 245 E. Broad St. Bethlehem, Pa. 18018. All other services will be private held at the convenience of the family.
