Catherine M. Snyder

Catherine M. McGettigan Snyder, 93, of Bethlehem, PA passed away Saturday, March 12, 2011 at Manor Care Health Services in Easton, PA. Born February 3, 1918 in Bethlehem she was the daughter of the late Margaret Simons and James McGettigan. She was married to Leonard Snyder who passed away on May 5, 1995.

Catherine dedicated her life to her family. She was a member of the Ladies Group at Our Lady of Perpetual Help and the Pinochle Group at St. Anne's Catholic Church.

Catherine will be lovingly remembered by her sons, James Snyder and wife Linda and Thomas Snyder. She will also be missed by her six grandchildren; Jeffrey, Douglas, Jason, Ami, Gregory and Andrea, five great grandchildren; Kennedy, Nate, Adrianna, Riley and Chase.

She was preceded in death by her brothers, Leo McGettigan, Joseph McGettigan, Edward McGettigan and sisters, Dorothy Solsky, Marguarite McGettigan and Mary Wagner.

SERVICES

A viewing will be held on Wednesday, March 16, 2011 at Our Lady of Perpetual Help 3219 Santee Rd. Bethlehem, PA 18020 from 9-10 AM followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 AM. Burial will be at Holy Saviour Cemetery in Bethlehem. Arrangements Connell Funeral Home, Inc.
