Catherine Nocek

Catherine "Kitty" Nocek, 80, of Bethlehem passed away on Wednesday November 28, 2012 at St. Luke's Hospice House. She was born on July 13, 1932 in Bethlehem, daughter of the late Paul E. and Anna V. (Nemeth) Klement. She was the wife of the late Louis J. Nocek.

Catherine was a committee woman for Lower Saucon Twp. for 45 years. She was a member of the PFDW, Nazareth Area Democratic Women, Northampton County Democratic Committee, and Steel City Volunteer Fire Co. Auxiliary. She was an officer for the Northampton County Council of Democratic Women and a former member of the Easton Area Democratic Woman's Club. She was a Boy Scouts mother for Sacred Heart Church for 4 years and Den Mother for Saucon Valley School District for 6 years.

She will be loving remembered by her sons, Stanley and wife Sandra of Danielsville, Richard and wife Nancy of Lehighton, and Scott of Lower Saucon Twp., brother, Frank J. Klement and wife Mary of Steel City, 5 grandchildren, and 4 great grandchildren.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 11AM Monday December 3, 2012 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church 1817 First St. Bethlehem, Pa. 18020. Calling hours will be from 9-11AM at the church. Burial will be held at Holy Saviour Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the Dewey Ambulance Service 502 Durham St. Hellertown, Pa. 18055.
