Catherine Ortwein Mcshane

Catherine Ortwein McShane, 84, of Easton, PA, formerly of Bethlehem, passed away on Friday March 31, 2023 at Abington Manor @ Morgan Hill. She was born in Bethlehem, the daughter of the late William and Catherine (Tokar) Ortwein. She worked as a secretary for Binney & Smith Co. before retiring after 31 years. Most importantly, she was devoted to raising her family.

She will be lovingly remembered by her children, Catherine Snyder and husband William, David McShane, James McShane Jr., Colleen Rabenold and husband Richard, and Ann Marie Smith and husband Walden, brother, William Ortwein and wife Joan, 13 grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren. She was predeceased by a sister, Mary Ferry.

A calling hour will be held from 9-9:45am Monday April 10th, 2023, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church First St. Bethlehem, PA 18020 followed by a Mass of Christian Burial 10am. Burial will be private.
