Cecelia F. Zavecz

Cecelia F. Zavecz, 93, of Bethlehem, died peacefully on Monday, October 19, 2015, at her residence. She was born in Bethlehem, the daughter of the late Henry and Gizella (Seaman) Diskanetz. She was the loving wife to the late John Francis Zavecz. They were married 71 years. Cecelia worked for Western Electric for 35 years. She was a parishioner of St. Annes Catholic Church. Cecelia was devoted to her family, and loved to travel and read.

She will be lovingly remembered by her daughters, Elaine and Kathleen, both of Bethlehem; her son, James and his wife, Suzanne, of Shreveport, LA; and a granddaughter, Rachel. She was predeceased by brothers, Paul, Joseph, Leslie, Matthew, and Henry.

Services will be held 9:30am Friday October 23, 2015 at the Connell Funeral Home 245 E. Broad St. Bethlehem, Pa. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial 10am at St. Annes Catholic Church 450 Washington Ave. Bethlehem, Pa. A calling hour will be held from 8:30-9:30am Friday morning at the funeral home. Burial will be held at Holy Saviour Cemetery in Bethlehem.
