Cedric A. Whittaker

Cedric A. Whittaker, 93, of Bethlehem, passed away on January 31, 2023.

Born on January 11, 1930, in Black River, Jamaica, he was the son of the late Ethlyn (Sloly) and Benjamin Whittaker.

Cedric enjoyed collecting stamps and playing tennis in his spare time.

He will be dearly missed by his wife of 43 years, Perlita Whittaker; daughter, Shryll (Christopher Tappert) Whittaker; two sisters, Beverly DaCosta and Peggy Whittaker; granddaughter, Chloe; and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Cedric is preceded in death by his two brothers, Noel and Ronald Whittaker; and sister, Evelyn Habib.

A viewing will be held on Wednesday, February 8, 2023, from 10-11:00 a.m. at Connell Funeral Home, 245 E. Broad St., Bethlehem, PA 18018 with a funeral service beginning at 11:00 a.m. Entombment will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimers Association, 225 N. Michigan Ave., Floor 17, Chicago, IL 60601.
