Ceinwen Gorman

Ceinwen (Nicholas) Gorman, 85, of Bethlehem, died on Monday, April, 8, 2013. She was born March 14, 1928 in Wales; daughter of the late, George I. and Hilda (Lewis) Nicholas. Ceinwen was preceded in death by her husband of 64 years, William H. Gorman, Sr. on January 5, 2013.

Earlier in life, Ceinwen worked for Almart until its closing. She then dedicated her time and energy to the family business, Gorman's IGA; until her retirement in 1985.

She will be dearly missed by her sons, William H. Gorman, Jr. husband of Constance and Thomas Gorman all of Bethlehem as well as her grandchildren, Brian Gorman, Todd Haldaman and Danielle Curtis. Ceinwen is also survived by several great grandchildren and several great-great grandchildren, and her sister, Irene Kriegsman. She was predeceased by her sister, Mavis Link and her brother, David Nicholas.

A visitation will be held at The Connell Funeral Home, 245 E. Broad St. Bethlehem, PA 18018 on Friday, April 12, 2013 from 10-11 AM for immediate and extended family only, with a funeral ceremony to begin at 11 AM. Interment will be held at Nisky Hill Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Alzheimer's Association, 225 N. Michigan Ave., Fl. 17, Chicago, IL 60601.
