Charlene H. Mcinerney

Cher (Charlene) H. McInerney, 69, of Allentown, died Sunday, February 3, 2019 at ManorCare Health Services in Allentown. Born July 11, 1949 in Allentown, she was the daughter of the late Charles R. Herbst and Maxine L. Herbst (Lee).

For much of her career, Cher ran a childcare service out of her home. She was a member of Bethany UCC in Bethlehem. She enjoyed singing and was a proud member of the Steelworkers Choir as well as Bethany UCCs Choir.

Cher is survived by her children, Jason McInerney and wife Melissa of Beaver Falls PA; Justin McInerney and wife Cara of Northampton, PA; and Jessica Kemp and husband James of Macungie PA; her sister, Cheryl Kochel and husband, Phil of Stevens, PA; and brothers, Deane of Madeira, PA; and Dale of Myrtle Beach, SC, and her grandchildren, Alexander, Harper, and Everly.

A viewing will be held Friday, February 8, 2019 at Connell Funeral Home, 245 E. Broad St., Bethlehem, PA 18018 from 10-11 AM followed by a service at 11 AM in the funeral home. Burial will be at Cedar Hill Memorial Park in Allentown.

In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the American Heart Association 212 E. Broad St., Bethlehem, PA 18018 .
