Charles F. Beasman

Charles F. Beasman, Sr. (Age 82) of Lower Macungie Township, PA and Bradenton, FL died December 8, 2015 in Bradenton, FL. He was the husband of Betty L. (Crawford) Beasman. They were married for 45 years. Born in Baltimore, MD he was the son of the late Arthur and Elise (Neumeister) Beasman. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Engineering (Civil) in 1962 and a second Bachelor of Science in Engineering (Mechanical) in 1967, both from Johns Hopkins University. He retired in 1998 as General Manager of Engineering for Bethlehem Steel Corporation after 41 years in various engineering positions. He was a member of the Catholic Church of St. Thomas More, Allentown, PA. He was an Army veteran having served from 1953 to 1955. Survivors: wife, Betty; son, Charles Beasman, Jr. and his wife Linda of Baltimore, MD; daughter, Wanda and her husband Gary Thompson of Baltimore, MD; daughter, Karen and her husband Stephen Norris of Annapolis, MD; Step-daughter, Vicki Kemp Wright of Salisbury, MD; pre-deceased step-son, Joseph Kemp; brother, Robert W. Beasman and his wife Cindy of Belair, MD; 12 grandchildren, and 5 great grandchildren. A memorial Mass will be held at St. Thomas More in Allentown, PA on Saturday, December 19, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. Contributions may be made to St. Thomas More Catholic Church, Allentown, PA or First Presbyterian Church, Bethlehem, PA. Interment private.
