Charles F. Krenos, Jr.

Charles "Butch" F. Krenos, Jr. of Bethlehem Township passed away at home with his family by his side on December 8, 2021, after a battle with cancer. He leaves behind his loving wife of 44 years, Ellen E. (Bartos) Krenos. Also, a daughter, Amanda E. of West Chester, a son Christopher R. of Bethlehem Township, a sister, Sharon M. (Krenos) Ondush and husband Michael, an uncle, Anthony Favinger and wife Karen (Lechler), nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, and many friends and coworkers. He was born in Fountain Hill the son of Charles F. Krenos, Sr. and Irene K. (Favinger) Krenos. His grandparents were Joseph and Theresa Krenos and Helen and Raymond Favinger.

Charles was a 1973 graduate of Liberty High School and Bethlehem Area VoTech graduating in electrical electronics. He was employed by the City of Bethlehem for over 35 years in the electrical department. He was also a master electrician for over 23 years and an electrical contractor for over 30 years. He was on the Electrician's Examining Board for the City of Bethlehem since 2015 and a member of the International Association of Electrical Inspectors. He belonged to Sacred Heart of Jesus R.C. Church Miller Heights.

A viewing will be held on Sunday, December 12, 2021 from 5-8 p.m. at Connell Funeral Home, 245 E. Broad St. Bethlehem, PA 18018. A viewing will also be held on Monday December 13, 2021 from 9:30-10:30 a.m. in the funeral home. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11 a.m. at Sacred Heart of Jesus R.C. Church, 1817 1st St. Bethlehem, PA 18020. Burial will be private.
