Charles F. Svetec, Sr.

Charles F. Svetec, Sr., 82, of Bethlehem Twp., died Thursday, May 29, 2008 at St. Lukes Hospital in Fountain Hill. He was born October 10, 1925 in Bethlehem, the son of the late Frank and Frances Zamadics Svetec. He was the loving husband of the late Florence A. Tutolo Svetec. They celebrated 55 years of marriage in May of 2002.

Charles was a supervisor at the former Hellertown Manufacturing Co. for 30 years before retiring in 1985. He served his country in the U.S. Navy during WWII in the Pacific Theatre from 1943-1946. He was devoted to his family and enjoyed watching his granddaughters play volleyball and softball. Charles was a member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church of Bethlehem Twp.

He will be lovingly remembered by his son, Charles F. Svetec, Jr., husband of Frances of Bethlehem; his sister, Helen Andrucci of California; and his three granddaughters, Mary Fran, Ellen & Carly.

Services: A Funeral Service will be held, Tuesday, June 3rd, 10 a.m. at Connell Funeral Home, Inc. 245 East Broad St. Bethlehem. There will be no calling hours.
