Charles H. Schuler

Charles H. Schuler, 91, of Lower Saucon Twp., died on Saturday, May 11, 2013 at St. Luke's Hospital. He was born October 5, 1921; son of the late Harry and Lena Schuler. Charles was married to Josephine J. (DelRe) Schuler for 58 years.

Charles proudly served in the US Navy during WWII. He retired from the Bethlehem Steel Corp. as an Estimator. Charles was a parishioner of Church of the Assumption B.V.M of Colesville.

He is survived by his wife, Josephine; step daughters, Carol Muszasty and her husband Dmitri of Coopersburg and Maria Portee and her husband Ronald of Winter Springs, FL; his sister, Dorothy S. Heckert of Bethlehem; as well as three step grandchildren, Robert, Susan and Jennifer; five step great grandchildren; two step great-great grandchildren; two nieces and two nephews. Charles was preceded in death by his brother, Milton.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the Connell Funeral Home and will be private at the convenience of the family. Memorial contributions may be made to the church, 4101 Old Bethlehem Pike, Bethlehem, PA 18015.
