Charles L. Tomko

Charles L. Tomko, 85, of Bethlehem, died on Friday, October 4, 2013 at St. Lukes Hospital in Fountain Hill. He was born in Bethlehem, the son of the late John and Julia (Mahoski) Tomko. He was the loving husband of Doris (Green) Tomko. They would have celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary this November 13th.



Charles worked for Bethlehem Steel as an engineer technician. He also worked as a structural draftsman part-time. He was a parishioner of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church in Bethlehem Twp. where he was an usher for many years. Charles was an avid fisherman and golfer.

He will be lovingly remembered by his wife, Doris; son, Charles R. Tomko and his wife, Colleen of Coopersburg; brothers, David Tomko of Bethlehem; Thomas Tomko of Effort and Frank Tomko of Bethlehem; and his two grandchildren, Shaun and Jesse. He was preceded in death by his brothers, George and John Tomko.

Services: A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, October 8, 2013 at 11 a.m. at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church, 3219 Santee Rd., Bethlehem, PA 18020. Visitation will be from 9:45 a.m. to 10:45 a.m.

in the church. Burial will be at Holy Saviour Cemetery, in Bethlehem.
