Charles J. Lipp, 97, of Bethlehem passed away Monday, March 31, 2025 at Holy Family Manor. He was the husband of Frances M. (Mulacheski) Lipp who died February 21, 2025. Charles was born in Mahanoy City on June 8, 1927 to the late John and Barbara (Smith) Lipp. He worked as an electrician for Local IBEW 367. Charles served our country faithfully in the US Navy during World War II. He was a member of Our Lady of Perpetual Church, Bethlehem Twp. Charles was a member of the Edward H. Ackerman Post 397, Hellertown and the North End Republican Assoc., Bethlehem.
Survivors: daughters Barbara Peeling and her husband Jeffrey of Wrightsville, PA, Charlene Brown and her husband Robert of Bethlehem Township, Debra Boardman of Lansdale, PA; son-in-law: Bruce Chickey of Bethlehem; grandchildren: Michele Boardman, Robert Brown, Nicole (Chickey) Vidoni, Gregory Brown, Michael Brown and Daniel Boardman; great-grandchildren: Robert "Robbie" Brown, Rory Anne Brown, and Aubrey (Vidoni) Smith. He was predeceased by his youngest daughter, Nancy Chickey; siblings: Father John Lipp, Georgene Dusky, Mary Ervin & Theresa Lipp.
Services: Family and friends are invited to his viewing on Tuesday, April 8, 2025 from 10:30-11am at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church, 3219 Santee Road, Bethlehem followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11am. The interment with Military Honors will conclude services at Holy Saviour Cemetery. Condolences may be offered online at www.connellfuneral.com
