Charles Ryall Ryder

Charles Ryall Ryder, 64, of Bethlehem, died on Saturday, January 06, 2018 at St. Lukes Hospital after a courageously fought 6 year battle with cancer. He was born August 17, 1953 in Bethlehem; son of the late Charles S. and Arlene M. (Weirbach) Ryder. Chip is survived by his devoted wife of 46 years, Rosanne Marie (Shamenek) Ryder.

Charlie was a graduate of Liberty High School. He began his career in production with the Coca Cola Bottling Company for 25 years, Pillsbury and most recently B. Braun Medical, Inc. Charlie will be remembered as a quiet man who loved loud music and loud trains. He enjoyed playing his guitar, collecting model trains and attending car shows. Earlier in life, Charlie looked forward to camping and day trips with his family.

Chip will be lovingly remembered by his wife, Rose; daughter, Adrianne Ryder; son, Christopher L. Ryder and his wife, Michele; granddaughters, Jenna Jimenez and Hailey R. Ryder all of Bethlehem; and his brother, Scott David Ryder of Philadelphia.

The family will receive guests on Wednesday, January 10, 2018 at The Connell Funeral Home, 245 E. Broad St. Bethlehem, PA 18018 from 9:00-10:30 a.m. Interment will follow at Holy Saviour Cemetery.
