Cheryl A. Mittl

Cheryl A. Mittl, 52, of Bath, died on Sunday, August 28, 2016, at Albert Einstein Medical Center in Philadelphia. She was born in Bethlehem, the daughter of the late Stephen and Helen (Unguren) Jakisa. She was the loving wife to Guy J. Mittl. They celebrated their 23rd wedding anniversary this past September.

Cheryl was a registered nurse who worked at Sacred Heart Hospital, Lehigh Valley Hospital-Muhlenberg, Easton Hospital, Gracedale Nursing Home and Albert Einstein Medical Center.

She will be lovingly remembered by her husband, Guy; her sister, Linda Shannon; in-laws; and her nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be Friday, September 2, from 6 to 9 p.m. and again on Saturday, from 8:45 to 9:45 a.m. at Connell Funeral Home, 245 E. Broad St., Bethlehem. A 10:30 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday at the Annunciation B.V.M. Church (St. Marys) 122 Union St., Catasauqua. Burial will follow at Holy Saviour Cemetery, Bethlehem.
