Chester Jamiolkowski

December 5, 1920 — September 30, 2006

Chester ?Reds? Jamiolkowski, 85, of Bethlehem, died on Saturday, September 30, 2006 at Country Meadows in Bethlehem.

Born December 5, 1920 in Wilkes-Barre he was the son of the late Tofil and Alice Maroski Jamiolkowski. He was married to Regina Zelasko Jamiolkowski for 59 years.

Chester was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Miller Heights. He worked for Bethlehem Steel in the beam yards as a slip maker for 42 years, where he retired from in 1981. He was a member of the USWA Local #2598. Chester was also a member of the Rosevelt Democratic Club.

He will be lovingly remembered by his wife, Regina, daughter Karen Cote wife of James, of Dunlap, Ill., a son, Chet Jamiolkowski, Jr. and wife Marianne of Atkinson, N.H., five grandchildren; Brian, Kristen, Jodi, Jamie, Michael, and three Great Grandchildren; Joshua, Jacob, and Elisa Luna.

He was preceded in death by his brother Joseph Jamiolkowski.

SERVICES

Visitation will be at Connell Funeral Home 245 E. Broad St. Bethlehem, PA 18018 this evening, October 3, 2006 from 6:30 PM to 7:30 PM and again in the funeral home on Wednesday October 4, 2006 from 8:15 AM to 9:15 AM

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Sacred Heart Catholic Church 1st Miller Heights on Wednesday, October 4, 2006 at 10:00 AM.

Burial will be at Holy Saviour Cemetery, in Bethlehem.

In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to St. Luke?s VNA Hospice 1510 Valley Center Parkway Bethlehem, PA 18017
