Christine Grellet

Christine A. Grellet, 94, of Bethlehem, formerly of Cherry Hill, NJ passed away Saturday, December 7, 2024 at her granddaughter's home in Bethlehem. She was the wife of the late Albert P. Grellet who died October 8, 1989. Christine was born in Yonkers, NY on January 2, 1930 to the late Joseph A. and Viola (Silvestri) Castry.

Throughout her life, Christine embraced a variety of passions. She was an avid traveler, exploring the beauty of the world with her friend, Jane . Her love for bowling into her 80's kept her active and engaged in the community. A beloved neighbor in Cherry Hill, NJ, Christine's warmth and kindness touched the lives of many around her.

Christine was also an enthusiast of game shows, old movies, and crossword puzzles, often filling her days with laughter and joy as she engaged her sharp mind in friendly competition and entertainment.

Survivors: children: Albert J. and his wife Kathleen P. Grellet of Bethlehem, Karen A. Grellet of Spring Valley, NY; granddaughters: Emily, Aimee, Gina, Nicole, Melissa; great grandchildren: Rosie, Anthony, Victor, Madeleine. Predeceased by her brother: Anthony Castry.

Her family extends heartfelt gratitude to her dear friend and caregiver, Catherine Chieffo, for her compassionate support during Christine's later years.

Services: Friends and family are invited to her viewing, 7-8pm Tuesday, December 10, 2024 at the Connell Funeral Home, Inc. 245 East Broad Street, Bethlehem.
