Christopher Joseph Bozik, 52, of Northampton, passed away unexpectedly on September 21, 2022.
Born on July 3, 1970, he was the son of the late Geraldine A. (Arnberger) and Joseph R. Bozik. Although he was born in Bethlehem, he grew up in Davenport, Iowa and graduated from North High School. At the age of 16, he took up the game of golf, and was a natural. He was a former golf pro, working and teaching at various courses in the area.
Christopher was an incredible golf coach. His patience with his students and focus on “one thing” was taught to him by Butch Harmon, who was his coach when Chris started playing. After finishing his career as a golf pro, he most recently worked for C&S Wholesale Warehouses.
Chris will be remembered as a family man; he was a dedicated father and friend. In his free time, he enjoyed playing poker, cooking, and barbecuing. He was the biggest Pittsburgh Steelers fan. He was a funny, talented, kind person who was loved by so many.
He will be dearly missed by his son, Mitchell Bozik; daughters, Cameron and Madison Bozik; brother, Marc Bozik and his children, Adrianna and Payton Bozik; sister and brother-in-law, Gillian and Christopher Shipman, and their daughter, Stella Shipman; the mother of Christopher's children, Tracy Bozik; and his mother-in-law, Claire Kleppinger.
In addition to his parents, Chris is preceded in death by his father-in-law, Bruce Kleppinger.
There will be a memorial for Chris in early summer of 2023, and details will be sent out as they are finalized.
His siblings have established a college fund for his children. Donations may be made payable to "Gillian Shipman in trust for the Bozik children" and sent to 2 Kinderwood Drive, Easton, PA , 18042
