Clementina Svirzovsky, 93, of Bethlehem, passed away Tuesday, July 20, 2010 at Cedar Brook Nursing Home in Fountain Hill. She was born in Roseto, PA the daughter of the late Dominick and Marie DeFranco.
She was the loving wife of the late Joseph A. Svirzovsky.
Clementina worked as a seamstress for the former Debbie Sue Fashions in Bethlehem for 33 years before she reitired in 1980. She was a member of the ILGWU and a member of the former Ss. Cyril & Methodius Catholic Church.
She will be lovingly remembered by her daughters, Suzanne M., wife of Curtis J. Huber of Bethlehem; MaryJo E., wife of Stephen Leonardo of Heightstown, NJ; brother, Dr. Albert DeFranco of Easton; Sisters, Rose Plattenberg of Bangor; Lucille Horn of Phillipsburg, NJ; Jenny Steimetz of Bangor Junction;
Helen Maiorlia of Mermack, NH; grandchildren; Curtis D. Huber, Kristen Schummer wife of Eric, Michael Huber and wife Natalie and Lynn wife of Steve Leonardo. She will also be remembered by her great grandson, Michael.
She was preceded in death by her siblings, Mamie Smith, Frank, Paul, Danny, Dominick, Jr. & Anthony DeFranco.
Services: Visitation will be held, Friday, July 23, 2010 from 9-10 AM at Incarnation of Our Lord Parish, 617 Pierce St. Bethlehem, PA 18015 followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 AM. Burial will follow at Holy Saviour Cemetery, in Bethlehem. Arrangements Connell Funeral Home, Inc.
