Clotilde A. Dasilva

June 3, 1922 — December 17, 2007

Clotilde ?Tillie? A. Almeida DaSilva, 85, of Bethlehem Township died Monday, December 17, 2007 at Hospice of the VNA of St. Luke's in Lower Saucon Township.

Born June 3, 1922 in Bethlehem, she was the daughter of the late Antonio and Clotilde Almeida. She was married to Benjamin DaSilva with whom she just celebrated their 61st anniversary on September 14.

Tillie was a Liberty High School graduate and also received a degree from the Bethlehem Business School in 1942. Tillie worked for several companies throughout her life. She worked for the Bethlehem Housing Authority, Phoenix Clothing in the office, St Joseph?s Credit Union, as a secretary for the Unger Insurance Agency and most recently with the Bethlehem Area School District as a tutor. She was a member of Holy Infancy Catholic Church where she sang in the choir. Tillie was a member of the Portuguese Lodge 52.

She will be lovingly remembered by her husband, daughters; Cecilia Andrews wife of Edmund of Dillsburg, Pa and Rosemarie Oliveira of Bethlehem, Niece Louise Trexler of Lower Saucon Township, grandchildren; Gwen Swift, Monica O?Sullivan, Antonio deOliveira, and Jennifer deOliveira, great grandchildren; Ava O?Sullivan and Kevin Robert Boehler.

She was preceded in death by her sister Mary A. Lopes.

SERVICES

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Wednesday December 19, 2007 at 10:00 a.m. at Holy Infancy Catholic Church 312 E. 4th St. Bethlehem.

Burial will be at Holy Saviour Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made in Tillie?s name to Holy Infancy Church or to Hospice of the VNA of St. Luke's 1510 Valley Center Parkway-St. 200 Bethlehem, PA 18017
