Cloyde S. Peebler

Cloyde S. Peebler, 79, of Bath, PA died Sunday, September 20, 2009 at Liberty Nursing Home in Allentown. Born August 15, 1930 in Milan, IL he was the son of the late Cloyde and Clara Sydnor Peebler. He was married to Elizabeth Meseros Szabo-Peebler with whom he celebrated 12 years of marriage.

Cloyde worked as a truck driver for Consolidated Freight for many years and after retiring served as the Road Commissioner in Illinois. He proudly served his country in the United States Army during the Korean War.

He will be lovingly remembered by his wife, Elizabeth Meseros Szabo- Peebler, son, Michael Peebler and wife Jackie, daughters, Julie wife of Tim Phelps and Debbie Hargrave, step daughters, Mary Capozzolo, Juliann Bruneio and Loriann Barbera, brother, Wes Peebler and his wife Mary, 6 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. Also surviving are 11 step grandchildren and 1 step great grand daughter.

He was preceded in death by his first wife Margaret Peebler, a step daughter, Betty Ann Szabo and a sister, Marsha Staddler.

Services will be held in Illinois.
