Clyde C. Andrews

Clyde C. Andrews, 74, of Bethlehem, passed away on Friday January 23, 2015 at St. Lukes Hospital in Fountain Hill. He was born on May 1, 1940 in Allentown, son of the late Claude and Minnie (Nonnemacher) Andrews. He was the caring and dedicated husband of Joan (Mies) Andrews. They celebrated 50 years of marriage this past May. Clyde was a dutiful provider for his family. He worked as a meat cutter and department manager for the A&P Company and also as a bus driver for Lehigh Universitys Department of Transportation. He was a little league baseball coach, participated with the Boy Scouts and was an avid blood donor.

Clyde was a devoted husband and father who will be lovingly remembered by his wife, Joan, his four children: Stephen of Allentown, Matthew of Ithaca, NY, Jason of Saylorsburg, Callie (Andrews) Velas of Bethlehem and his seven grandchildren. He was predeceased by his brother Stanley Normington and sister Fern Miller.

A brief graveside service will be held at 11:00am Wednesday January 28 at Holy Ghost cemetery in South Bethlehem. Please arrive at Connell Funeral Home home prior to 10:30 to join the procession.
