Colleen M. Salvadge

Colleen M. Salvadge, 77, of Bethlehem, died Sunday, December 5, 2010 at Country Meadows, Bethlehem. She was born, July 21, 1933 in Bethlehem; the daughter of the late Lawrence and Josephine Ashman Maura. Colleen was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph M. Salvadge. She retired from the Bethlehem Area School District after 23 1/2 years of service as a Principals Assistant. Previously, Colleen worked as an Assistant for the Lonestar Cement Co. Colleen was a parishioner of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Miller Heights. Colleen was a Past President of the Nancy Run Fire Co. Ladies Auxiliary. Survivors: She will be lovingly remembered by her son, Ralph M. Salvadge, husband of Maria of Bethlehem; daughter, Karen Schiffert, wife of Chris of Bath; brother, Ronald Maura husband of Catherine of Bethlehem and brother-in-law, Vincent Salvadge husband of the late Margaret of Florida. She will also be missed by her five grandchildren, Raffaelo, Angelena, Victoria, Peter and Paul as well as her nieces and nephews. Services: A viewing will be held on Thursday, December 9, 2010 from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. at Connell Funeral Home, 245 E. Broad St. Bethlehem, PA 18018. A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, December 10, 2010 at 11 a.m. at the funeral home. Interment will be at Holy Saviour Cemetery, Bethlehem.
